Jazzed about Art?
This weekend marks the end of the Matisse exhibit at the McNay. Henri Matisse published his magnum opus 'Jazz' in 1947, a collection of writing and art that would come to be his most well known works. The artist himself was bedridden with cancer at this time, and unable to to create art like he once did. The artist refused to give up his passion, and thus created some of the most influential works of the 20th century. Check out the exhibit before it's gone for good! Matisse's Jazz is open until Sunday, August 16th.
