In the state of Texas it is not required to have an attorney but you are more than welcome to hire one! Our real estate contracts are promulgated by the state of Texas and reviewed annually by state attorneys and real estate professionals to ensure that most anything you’d run across in a transaction is in our 10 page contract and hundreds of addendum. 


Title companies have their own attorneys, although they do not represent you specifically, they are reviewing all the records to provide the title insurance.
