San Antonio is no stranger to making bold moves! Recently, the San Antonio Spurs had assistant coach Becky Hammon was bumped up to acting head coach during a tough game against the Los Angeles Lakers. This makes Hammon the first ever woman to do so in NBA history! Even the opposing team was pleased to see Hammon breaking barriers, complimenting her strategy and dedication. Hammon first made history in 2014 by becoming the first ever female full time coach in the NBA when she joined the Spurs team. We often say 'Go Spurs Go!' in San Antonio, but today we'd like to say 'Go Becky Go!' as well!
