Santa Paws Parade
Show off your pup’s finest Christmas sweater during this Downtown Dog Market + Santa Paws Parade in Legacy Park. Hosted by Dog Guide San Antonio, the event will feature a canine parade and costume contest, snow flurry photos, free coffee and hot cocoa from Estate Coffee Co., dog friendly vendors and more. A Christmas Carol The Musical
It’s the final weekend of the Public Theater of San Antonio’s presentation of this classic by Charles Dickens. Watch as the grumpy curmudgeon who values wealth above all else learns his lesson during visits from three Christmas Eve ghosts. Friday & Saturday, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m. 800 W. Ashby Place
Grilled Cheese Fest
Try gooey cheese sandwiches from multiple local restaurants during this festival at the Espee, formerly Sunset Station, and then vote for your favorite to help them win the sandwich crown. Holiday Herbs and Spices
The San Antonio Botanical Garden is hosting a hands-on demo that will allow guests to make their own sachet of holiday herbs and spices perfect for homemade apple cider. No registration is necessary. Sunday, 12:30-2:30 p.m. 555 Funston Place
Bluey’s Big Play
The Majestic Theatre is hosting everyone’s favorite pups, Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad. Watch as Bluey and Bingo turn Dad’s lazy Sunday afternoon into a day of play during this theatrical adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning children’s show.
