This week we celebrate St. Patrick’s day in San Antonio!
Here’s a few ideas and events to celebrate and it even includes a big festival and a River Parade.
Dyeing the River Green
Watch the historic River Walk turn into the River Shannon as 25 gallons of eco-friendly.

St. Patrick’s Day Artisans Show
Vendors at 40 booths will be selling pottery, textiles, jewelry, woodwork, paintings and beadwork at this holiday fair. 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
St. Patrick’s Festival
Features live music, family games and holiday foods. The highlight is the Bud Light St. Patrick’s Day River Parade, with 12 Irish-themed floats carrying bagpipers and other entertainers along the San Antonio River. Festival. 1-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Villita Way in La Villita. Parade 4-5 p.m. Saturday.
Lucky Dog Parade
A parade of dapper fur babies dressed in their finest St. Patrick’s Day attire will march from La Villita to the Arneson River Theatre, a quarter-mile route. At the theater, a costume contest will be held to crown this year’s “Lucky Dog.” 1 p.m. Saturday, La Villita Historic Village.
St. Patrick’s Day Street Fest
Keep the party going with Howl at the Moon’s first St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Lon Duk Don, an ’80s cover band, will perform until 4 p.m., when more than 30 DJs take over, rotating performances for a silent disco. 1 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday, Howl at the Moon.
